Hello 👋, I’m Marvie

I’m an accessibility auditor and consultant living in Berlin, Germany.

I started out in software testing and quality assurance in 2008. Over time, I found myself taking on many roles, from project management to product work and customer advocacy. Somewhere in that mix I was also introduced to accessibility, where it very quickly became clear that it is what I’m truly passionate about and where I wanted to thrive. I get to bring all my skills nicely together in making digital products work better for everyone!

These days, I focus on auditing, testing, and helping teams find practical ways to make their product more inclusive. Also, making accessibility less intimidating and more doable! My approach? Cut through the complexity and keep things as simple as possible. Simplify, streamline, no fluff – these are my guiding principles. I’m driven by helping teams work with clarity, ease and confidence.

Also, I’ve got 4 senior cats sharing my office. They’re not much help with audits, but they’re excellent at keeping me humble.
